Banana Eco-friendly Cork Yoga Mat, Collection 2022 goes to change the status quo. Our mat is the perfect alternative to the usual plastic or synthetic yoga mat and it is a Recycled cork yoga mat and multipurpose: yoga practice, working out, stretching, recovery, and meditation are just a few.

What about the raw materials? Responding to the multiple environmental problems our planet is facing, we chose cork and recycled rubber mixed with cork powder. Then, we combine a sustainable material such as cork, removed from the bark of oak trees, with recycled rubber, which guarantees the infinite cycle of recycling continues. Finally, cork powder shows our concern with using all the components that stems from the cork extraction and manufacturing process.

Our cork ensures the mat is antimicrobial (eliminating bacteria), easy to clean, and extremely resistant. On the other hand, rubber is anti-slippage, resistant to shock and won’t absorb moisture or smells.

Our mats are conceived, designed, and produced in the north of Portugal, the core of the world cork industry.
